Pretty catchy melody, pleasant production. Not as hard and offensive as I prefer my dance music to be, but you can't really fault this. It's kind of missing 'funk', but that's something that you'll develop as you continue to produce ;D.

Can't wait to check out your stuff 6 months down the track :]

I know what you mean, there isn't as much energy in this track. (I prefer high energy tracks as well). But this is more of a fun laid back track, to listen just to get stuck in your head :P.

I really don't know what you mean by funk, but as you said i guess ill find out as i develop.

I can't comment on the actual production value because I'm listening to this on 1 inch drivers, but the overall composition is swell, if a tad sparse :). Really liked the bassoon at the beginning, sounds very cheeky. The last 15 seconds or so was awesome as well, when you started to fill it out with strings. I think this could benefit from a smattering of percussion though :)

Also, what time signature is this in? I can't figure it out!

Yeah, I find myself focusing on very limited instrument sets, I don't really know why, but I gravitate towards three and four piece ensembles when writing. Maybe I'm just noobly.

Percussion is something I never think to do with 'classical' pieces. I might take a crack at it tomorrow though.
